They are said to live in a village in the middle of Lephen Forest near Meary Lake. They live in large wooden houses that have wooden log walls, and clay roofs. They're wise, arrogant, kind, stubborn and bold creatures, making them very dangerous. They have perfect hearing, vision, taste, smell, and sense. Like their hated cousin, they hunt in groups. It is always a mix of women and men that with their gifts it is easy for them to bring home large game, or small.

Elf's, use all parts of the animal, that they kill, and there for you may see them wear robes of rabbit skin, or such things. To them, to not use all of the animal is a crime onto itself and brings them great dark luck.Elves are taught at a young age, to respect the forest and beings around them, and learn how to use a sword or arrow. They learn that they are the predator and others are prey. Though they also understand that they too can be prey, and must always remember to defend themselves to such things.

To keep order within the Elf community an elf is picked for his/her wisdom and placed the title of High Elf upon her/his head. He/she is responsible for the race and making sure proper fair punishment will be given to any who break their laws. All Elves respect their wise elder and do not go against him/her or question his/her judgment even if one of their loved ones may be put to death.

Not, saying it has never been done, there are some Elves who have gone rouge and have tried to assassinate the High Elf, or plot against him/her. It is found in any creature society good and evil dwell there. So, that saying there are good Elves and there are bad Elves.

If such Elves are to be of such nature and have decided to against the laws that which keep peace living with the other creatures, then they are banished from their village.

All Elf's age differently and can live to be over a hundred years of age. Those who are under the age of a hundred years are considered younglings and have much to learn. Those who've reached their hundredth and eighteenth birthday are considered a young adult, and given a quests.

That said on their hundredth eighteenth birthday they are given one quest. They must go live outside their village for a year and prove their bravery, bring back with them, an item that the High Elder wishes him to bring back.

To keep the Elf race from disappearing, Elf's mate for life and only have one mate. They can have three children by the mate they love, but, to have these children they must truly love their mate and be wed.

All Elf's are born with magic that stays apart of them. Some are stronger then others in this area. They can control all the elemental magic. Thought the darker elemental magic is frowned upon. Elf's protect their magic and so being they rarely use their magic, unless it is an emergency.

Elf's can be killed in many ways, though they are not so easily killed like their cousins. When a Elf dies, there is a big feast in the name of the elf and then they light the elf's body on fire and sing of its glory.

Elf's must have a good reason for the quest they are given, for leaving their village.

Elf's can be played at the young age of 10 + (see rules for playing child characters)

Elf's are extremely secretive and like to keep to themselves if they can, but if the cause is right, they will help out any race they wish.

Elf's are extremely deadly with weapons as they have wonderful senses.

Elf's that mate, must register the marriage with the High Elf.

Elf's are only allowed three children, total, they cannot have the three children per mate. Those children must be registered with the High Elf as well.

Elf's may use all the element magic, though the darker elements are frowned upon, but not unheard of.

Elf's may have the jobs of - Noble Folk, Town Folk, Magic Folk.

Elf's may not have some specific type of jobs, as it will be shown on the application page.

In one of the ancient Katherinan scrolls protected by the Master of wizards, explains how Elf's were born into this world. Long ago in the year 300 BW (Before Windrum ruled) A very young Metia, who was beautiful, wished to bring wisdom upon the earth. So with the wisdom in her heart, the beauty from a morning star, and a kiss from her own lips, a small seed was placed within herself.

As time past and Metia's grew this creature within her own womb, and soon gave birth to twin beautiful elf, one female of long white hair, ebony skin and green eyes, the other of long golden hair, ivory skin and blue eyes. They had long pointed ears, and was gentle and soft. Metia, raised these elf as she called it as her own children, but soon the creatures grew to a point that Metia had to let them go.

This is where the race came from, a single birthing of her own womb. The elf's show their thanks to the goddess, by rituals of dances, and prayers of their own, songs many have written, and the green gem they wear on their heads or around their neck. It is a symbol of love and growth, and to them, Metia is just that.

The only enemy of the elf, are the Vampyre folk. Elf's do not like their cousins, for the simple reason Vampyres believe in the Mother Idelia. In the eyes of the Elf's, Idelia betrayed Metia, and went against her wishes and there for she is an enemy of the race.

Elf's see Vampyre folk who believe in such a traitor are not worth living upon the ground they walk on. They simply can not tolerate the race and there for stay away from them at all costs. Sometimes, on rare occasion some Elf's could not avoid such race and dealt with the Vampyres with a civil manner.

There have been recorded on scrolls wars have broken out between the races. Though, right at this moment peace is between them. This still doesn't stop the Elf's seeing Vampyre folk as their enemy.
