Dragons are said to live in the Death Caverns in the Desert Waste Lands.
They are proud, dangerous, hermit like creatures. Who do not like too much attention around their homes, which are the caves deep within the Cavern walls?
As some rumors have whispered about dragons lay on beds of gold, cause, they are greedy, it’s not true. Dragons lay in nests that are much like what birds use, but are much bigger. It helps to keep them warm, and their eggs, when they leave.
There caves are like any other, but this doesn’t say they don’t like shiny objects or things that are beautiful, they do.
Dragons are indeed intelligent creatures, and hold just as much knowledge as does the wizards but they hold a tad more. Some call them snobby, others call them, strong willed which they are a little bit of both at times. They age very differently then any other creature, they can live to be thousand years old; of course, given they are allowed to die of natural purposes.
They are very unlikely to help any other race but theirs, as they do not see it right to meddle in other creatures business. So, it would take a lot of convincing to have a dragon on your side. Though a green dragon; is a lot easier to convince, then a black or white one.
Green dragons are very happy going at times, but they still have their snobby moments.
Black dragons will not help in any fashion, they are the typical dragon, and we speak of.
White dragons are neutral to any matter, and if they see that indeed they could help, they will, of course, this is very rare.
A white dragon is considered Father to all the dragons. This is why they call him Father Dragon. Yes, only one male white dragon is chosen for this position.
He is responsible for his entire race, and must keep them in line at all times. Of course, there are rouge dragons that go against such rules, but they are found, and must battle to the death to prove their worthiness.
If they live, then they are welcomed back, if they do not, well, he/she is left to have their meat picked by other creatures.
They are born from eggs, and their mother of course heats them with her fire, and lays next to them, until she herself needs to hunt for food. The father is no where near the mother at this time, as he has more important things, to do. He must scout out for a new safe home for his mate and youngling to raise the youngling the right way. The dragon ways
All dragons have more then one mate. They do not feel that one dragon for eternity, is a good way to keep their race going. So, each dragon is limited to four mates. Though dragons can have up to 5 eggs per mate, only two live.
Dragons are mystical creatures and they have elemental magic knowledge. All dragons breathe fire, but they also can chant, and control other elements, such as Ice, and wind.
They also can shape shift into human form, when needed. They only use that when they are forced too.
Dragons can mate in human form to other humans, but they are sterile and can not have off spring with this creature. As they are large creatures, they must eat a lot to keep them full; they eat things such as, Cattle, large farm animals, humans, etc. They are on top of the food chain, not any other creature.

Dragons
Description
Katherinan Dragons are described to be very large and only three colors black, green, and white creatures. Their skin is made up of very tough scales. That protect them from a number of things, be it their enemies, the weather, magical elements.
The Green Dragons are common and very small, they are almost considered pets. They have a dark blue eyes, small snout, small wings, four short legs, and with tiny claws. They can’t fly by their wings, as they can not support their body. So, these dragons are always seen on the ground or in trees.
They are very intelligent, and can speak like any other dragon, and they also possess magic, just like their cousins.
(Green dragons can not shape shift into human form.)
The Black Dragons are much larger, and very dangerous. They have large golden eyes, two very large wings on their back, long tail, horns on top of their heads, four legs, and razor claws on the end of each finger joint.
They can fly and are very intelligent. Though because of their size and they like to keep to themselves, they have the ability along with magic, to shape shift into human form.
Though, when they do, they have long raven hair, large golden eyes, and very dark skin.
The White Dragons, are very rare, and hardly ever seen, only two is said to be born every century. They are beautiful creatures, with glittering, florescent scales, deep dark brown eyes, a narrow snout, very thin long body, long tail, four strong legs, and blue razor claws at the end of their finger joints.
They are also intelligent creatures, but very kind and wise. When in human form, they have long white hair, brown eyes, and sparkling white flesh.
All baby dragons look just like the adults, but much smaller, and very adventurous.

In one of the ancient Katherinan scrolls protected by the Master of wizards, explains how Dragons were born into this world. Long ago in the year 500 BW (Before Windrum ruled). The Goddess Nephia grew jealous of Casicar’s creatures called Humans. She saw how some were very intelligent. Being able to create wizards as offspring, she decided to create an equal to that race.
She created two creatures that were very large, reptile like and even smarter then the humans. She named the female and male creatures, dragons. Soon Nephia fell in love with her own creatures and them with her. Until the day Casicar’s Humans began to try and kill her creatures.
She then decided to grace the dragons with the gift of changing into human forms, to keep them safe from their enemies. Dragons see Nephia, as their Goddess, and worship her in what way they feel is best. Some name their offspring after her; others pray to her and ask for her strength.
There are many ways they show their love for her, though they do not sacrifice their own kind.
Nephia tried to prevent blood shed of them, and she would grow to dislike them, if they shed their own blood.
Suicide is very frowned upon in their religion, if a dragon does this, they are not honored, they are considered a traitor and the name is never to be spoken
